Actor Anil Kapoor will co–star with Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible 4. According to Hollywood news websites, Kapoor, who was in negotiations with Paramount Pictures for an “integral supporting role” in the film, has now signed on.

Contrary to reports, Kapoor will not be one of the bad guys in the film that also stars Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton. Film critic Anupama Chopra tweeted the news, saying, “Anil Kapoor in M:I4. You have to admire the man’s ambition and longevity.” Kapoor’s spokesperson confirmed the news.
