Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose careers have ranged from bodybuilder to movie star to politician, is preparing for the publication of Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story with a teasing video trailer. "This story you know," he quips, after summarizing his rise to fame and fortune.

"Are you ready for the story you don't?"

The October 1 release promises an honest uncovering of Schwarzenegger's achievements and regrets, and there's plenty of material to harvest - from his small (and not so small) beginnings in Austria to his ambitious business ventures in the US, emergence as an international action hero, marriage to (and separation from) JFK's niece Maria Shriver, and plans for life after office.

The book is scheduled for publication from October 1.
