Write a short story of 100 words or less and you could be in with a chance of winning the first Jeffrey Archer Short Story Prize.
The contest, backed by the Curtis Brown agency, asks writers from the USA, Canada and the UK to submit their sub-cent stories by February 15. Twenty will
be chosen by e-book and e-beader outfit Kobo, packaged and distributed as a free short story anthology.

Novelist and controversial ex-Member of Parliament Jeffery Archer, who is on Curtis Brown's books, will then appear at the London Book Fair on April 15 to announce which of the 20 he has selected as finalists.

The lucky three will then deliver 3,000-word novel excerpts which will go to Curtis Brown for final analysis, and the best of which, announced April 29, is to be offered an online creative writing course.
