Bridget Jones will be back for her third installment of inner city escapades in November, publisher Knopf has announced.
A run of 250,000 copies will make up the first batch; the previous two titles in Helen Fielding's "Bridget Jones" series -- "Bridget Jones' Diary" and "Bridget
Jones: The Edge of Reason" -- have shifted 15 million copies combined.
Fielding sees Jones as a character who has grown up with her readers, something that will be reflected in the story.
"My life has moved on, and Bridget's will move on, too. I hope people will have as much fun reading it, as I am writing it," she said as part of the publisher's statement.
As such, Jones will be depicted "at a later stage in her life", though still in present-day London.
Bridget, like Fielding, was a late thirty-something when "Bridget Jones Diary" was published in 1996.
