I covet all of Vidya’s roles. Parineeta, Dirty Picture, Kahaani...
On a bad hair day, you…
I have very moody hair that doesn’t listen to its mistress! On a bad hair day, I use serum and tong my hair to keep my curls consistent.
Your go-to outfit for a red carpet event?
An LBD or a bandage dress is my staple. Otherwise, I go for empress cut short dresses in interesting colours or designs.
Your ultimate travel destination?
I would love to be a space tourist!
The exercise routine that scares you?
I hate weight training and I find swimming very uncomfortable.
If you were stranded on an island and could keep five things with you, what would you choose?
I would keep an all-weather tent, a solar operated torch, night flares, a huge supply of fresh water and matches.
The craziest rumour you have heard about yourself?
I have been married off at least five times in my career – it’s ridiculous.
Your best holiday so far?
A solo trip to Italy a decade ago.
The best thing about having two sisters?
Everything is fabulous – I love my girls and I wouldn't have it any other way!
What makes your day?
A hot mug of chocolate, reading the world section in the papers, a tasty dinner, watching Sex and the City or Crime reruns, a good poker game and good conversation!
Intangible, inexplicable, inscrutable, infuriating and intoxicating!
You get high on?
A glass of fine champagne and pasta aglio olio with morels.

I can gain weight easily on my thighs and that’s a real pain!
