Amruta Patil is a writer and painter. She is the author of the graphic novels Kari (2008) and Adi Parva (2012). The best thing about Delhi is its winter morning sun and the lake at Hauz Khas.
What about the worst? She can’t pin the blame on the city! “When I’m in a rotten frame of mind, any place under the sun is hard to endure,” she says.
Her trick to survive a city is to look at its people with kindness. To follow her writing and artwork, check out her blog, amrutapatil.blogspot.com.
