Low point of your life
When I wasn’t sure what to do in life

If you weren’t an actor, you would have been...
A sportsperson, probably a rugby player.

What was your reaction when you were told that you were picked for Student Of The Year?
It was a feeling of complete disbelief. I couldn’t believe my luck!

What was your equation with co-stars Varun Dhawan and Aalia Bhatt like?
I’d worked with Varun so we knew each other. Aalia came across as easy-going and we had good fun.

Which classic film would you have chosen as your debut?
Chupke Chupke (1975).

The sexiest actresses in Bollywood.
Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone.

And the fittest actors.
Hrithik Roshan, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor.

Directors you really want to work with.
Imtiaz Ali, Shimit Amin, among others.

Bollywood’s most romantic pair.
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor.

Other actresses you’d have loved to debut with.
Kareena Kapoor and Deepika.

When did you realise you were good looking?
I only realised it when I started modelling.

Were you shy as a kid?
Yes, a bit in school.

What are your memories of growing up in Delhi?
I have some really nice memories of Delhi. Going swimming, roaming around in Defence Colony, cycling in its beautiful, wide lanes and enjoying good food.

What did you have to change about yourself to settle down in Bollywood?
I had to work on my communication skills as social media is a big thing in Bollywood.

Are things better for newcomers now than they were 10 years ago?
Yes they are. Today everything is more organised and professional.

One day, I received a mail from a female fan saying she had named a star after me. She even mailed me the certificate for it!

A dessert that describes you.
Kulfi. It’s cool and sweet.

Do you think you have the male equivalent of the bikini body?
No way! I still have a long way to go.

Which Hollywood actors inspire you?
George Clooney and Johnny Depp.

Are there any pitfalls of being good looking?
I don’t think there are any.

Fitness and  good conversation.

What makes your day?
Good work.

And what ruins it?
A job not done well.

How do you destress?
By playing a sport or just working out.

A film you have Watched more than five times.
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge  and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara

The most paisa-vasool film?
Hum.

A film that was a part of your childhood.
