Lancashire’s Jordan Clark became the fifth batsman to hit six sixes in an over during a professional cricket match on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old achieved it in a Championship Second XI game against Yorkshire. Former West Indies all-rounder Garfield Sobers was the first man to do it and Ravi Shastri followed suit in 1985.

South Africa opener Herschelle Gibbs smashed six sixes in an over at the 2007 World Cup and Yuvraj Singh achieved the feat at the inaugural World T20 that year.

The list: Sobers (Nottinghamshire) v Malcom Nash (Glamorgan) -- 1968 First Class Shastri (Mumbai) v Tilak Raj (Baroda) 1984-85 First Class; Gibbs (South Africa) v Daan van Bungee (Holland) 2007 ODI; Yuvraj (India) v Stuart Broad (England) 2007.
