The national selection panel will be in a fix over Yuvraj Singh's selection for the World Twenty20 as they are set to finalise the squad for the event on Friday.
According to sources, the left-hander, who has not played competitive cricket for eight months as he was fighting a
rare germ cell cancer, has been "certified fit" by doctors at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), Bangalore, where he is training.However, the selectors are not sure whether to thrust him into top-flight action, especially without having watched him in a competitive game.
At least two of the five selectors are opposing the idea of selecting Yuvraj in the prevailing circumstances.
