US movie star Johnny Depp (L) and Orlando Bloom (R) acknowledge cheering Japanese fans during their latest movie, Pirates of the Carribean - At World's End Asia premier at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo, 23 May 2007. The movie will roadshow from May 25 worldwide.
Actor Johnny Depp stopped movie executives of Pirates of the Caribbean from tying up with a toothpaste brand because his character had bad teeth. Depp, who plays Captain Jack Sparrow in the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, is surprised at how creative
advertising for big Hollywood movies can get, reports contactmusic.com.

He said: "There were only a couple of things that I thought, 'Now we're stepping over the line.' I drew the line at hygiene products. It just seemed wrong.

"Captain Jack toothpaste, for example. How can a guy with gold teeth sell toothpaste? It's like a bald man selling shampoo. And cold cuts would be weird - Captain Jack hot dogs, bologna, things like that," he added.
