While they are caught up with studies the entire year, their annual fest - Feria, is a sure shot party time for the students of Institute of Home Economics. Held recently, the fest saw a variety of competitive and entertaining events. The first day was marked by a street play competition that saw
participation from students of various colleges. The plays threw light on societal issues worrying us. Next up was a fashion show that saw students, dressed up as models, walking the ramp.
The second day saw the western group dance competition. The brutal Delhi gangrape case was the theme of many performances. Other issues such as eve-teasing were also addressed.
The fest ended on a musical note with Delhi-based sufi rock band Nasha’s performance. The band belted out hits like Main Tainu and Naadaan Parindey, among others.
