If you find Delhi fascinating, but have not been able to take time out from your daily routine to appreciate the myriad nuances of the city, then here’s your chance. Artist Mukesh Khugsal’s collection of photographs, which capture the hustle bustle of life in the Capital, has been put on display at
the Delhi ‘O’ Delhi Foyer in India Habitat Centre.
Khugsal, a Delhiite and a self-trained photographer, has themed his collection around the vignettes of life from the city. “I have grown up in the city and it has always influenced me, so I captured some of the moments from the life fleeting by,” says Khugsal.
According to the artist, he has a passion for interpreting beauty in ordinary things. “My work is mostly targeted at the city’s youth who still aren’t aware about the existence of places like Agrasen ki Baoli, which is right at the centre of Connaught Place. The idea is to make young Delhiites more informed about the beautiful city that they reside in,” says Khugsal.
