Bollywood and students made Mecca — the annual fest of Hindu College, a hit affair.

The three-day festival, held last week, saw the host team performing but not competing in most of the inter-college competitions.  Actors John Abraham, Prachi Desai and Chitrangda Singh inaugurated
the fest.

The first day featured events such as the western dance, choreography and street play competitions. The day ended on a high note with the performance by the band Undeground Authority. 

The second day witnessed eight teams battling it out to be the best band. Also on display was Harmony — the Indian classical music (group) and solo singing competition where five teams and 18 participants competed respectively. Later in the evening, Sufi Rock band Nasha was scheduled to perform, but due to some reason, they couldn’t make it. However, OCP (Out of Control Punjabis) took the stage and performed some Punjabi numbers. 

The final day of the gala affair showcased Panache — a fashion show where 11 colleges, including the host, participated. Concluding the festivities was DJ Aqeel, who spun some popular tracks .
