Chashme Baddoor
Genre: Romantic comedy

Synopsis: Chashme Buddoor is a remake of the 1981 film of the same name. The new movie revolves around three friends Sid, Jai and Omi (Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma respectively), who live together in a small house in Goa. Living life large is their motto, but the only thing that doesn’t seem to work for Omi and Jai is that no woman is interested in them. Sid, on the other hand, lives a straight and normal life. The two womanising slackers, Omi and Jai make an attempt to woo the new girl in their neighbourhood, Neha (Taapsee Pannu). Soon, a series of lies, secrets and comical situations follows.

Snitch

Synopsis: Construction company owner John Matthews learns that his estranged son, Jason, has been arrested for drug trafficking. Desperately, John convinces the DEA and DA Joanne Keeghan to let him go undercover to help make arrests big enough to free his son in return. With the unwitting help of an ex-con employee, John enters the narcotics underworld where every move could be his last in an operation that will demand all his resources, wits and courage to survive.

Jurassic Park
Universal Pictures is re-releasing filmmaker Steven Spielberg’s groundbreaking 1993 classic in 3D format to commemorate the movie’s 20th anniversary.

Synopsis: The film revolves around the fictional Isla Nublar island near where a millionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists create an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs.

The Call

Synopsis: Jordan Turner is an experienced 911 operator but when she makes an error in judgment and a call ends badly, Jordan is rattled and unsure if she can continue. But then a teenager Casey Welson is abducted in the back of a man’s car and calls 911. And Jordan is called upon to help save save Casey.

Rise of the Zombie

Synopsis: Neil Parker is a passionate wildlife photographer who pays more attention to wildlife than his human life. As a result, his relationships with the real world often suffer. But a chance occurrence changes everything — changes that he can’t seem to handle, changes that seem to take his humanity away and seem unable to change back. The story follow his journey into a darkness that has to be seen to be believed. A monster seems to be rising out of the depths of desolation and agony — soulless, depraved and out of control.

Chashme Buddoor (1981)
A digitally restored version of the original Chashme Buddoor will also release today, alongside the remake. The old version, which starred Farooque Shaikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi and Ravi Baswani in leading roles, was directed by Sai Paranjpe.
Synopsis: Two womanising slackers attempt to woo a girl, but fail miserably. Their third roommate succeeds, much to their chagrin. The two then scheme up to split the lovebirds.
