Aamir Khan has had a hectic schedule lately. For the last few months, the actor has been travelling around the globe for back-to-back shoots for Vinod Chopra’s P.K. and Yash Raj Films’ Dhoom:3.
Now, the actor will be able to take a break again, thanks to P.K. director Rajkumar Hirani.
A source close to the actor reveals that Hirani has requested the actor to take time out from his schedule for Dhoom:3 and be part of the shoot with Sanjay Dutt for P.K.
“A few portions are yet to be shot with Sanjay Dutt. They are crucial scenes in the film and require Aamir to be
present,” says the insider.
Given the crisis that Sanjay is currently facing, Aamir has promptly agreed for the shoot. The source adds, “Aamir has given a heads up to the director (of Dhoom:3) and will take a couple of days off. Unlike other portions of the film, this shoot does not take place in Rajasthan. It will be done indoors. As Sanjay is running out of time, all of this needs to be done as soon as possible.”
We’ve also come to know that before Sanjay begins work on P.K.’s shoot, he will wrap up the remaining portions of TP Aggarwal’s Policegiri, in which he plays the lead role.
The source informs, “The P.K. shoot will begin this week itself.” This film also marks the reunion of the team that worked on 3 Idiots (2009) — producer Vinod Chopra, director Rajkumar Hirani and actor Aamir Khan.Cop to it
Sanjay Dutt recently declared that that he will start serving the remainder of his five-year sentence (he has already served 18 months) in some days. Ironically, the actor has been playing policemen in many of his recent releases and upcoming films. Sanjay played a cop in Zila Ghaziabad (earlier this year) and Department (2012). Interestingly, in his next, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke, the actor will once again don the khaki uniform. Even in Policegiri, one of his upcoming releases, Sanjay will be seen portraying the role of a policeman.

Sanjay Dutt will surrender in a couple of weeks, but before that he is busy completing the shooting of his films. Recently, the actor was also seen on the posters of a relatively unknown film titled, Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke. The actor had shot for promotional videos for this movie a while ago. However, the makers have decided to release them only now. “Sanju is speaking about the film and his character in the clips. The videos were shot six months ago and will be shown once the film nears its release date,” says Jyotin Goel, the director and producer of Hum Hai Raahi Car Ke.
