A film’s first look, the poster or trailer, draws much fanfare in Bollywood these days. So when Jackky Bhagnani, who stars in the Priyadarshan-directed Rangrezz, had to take a call on his film’s first poster, he was stuck with the decision for a week. The reason: he couldn’t make the final choice
from the two shortlisted ones. That’s when his family friend Ajay Devgn came as a saviour. Ajay unintentionally helped choose the film’s first poster.

“Yes, Ajay sir came in as a huge help. For a week, Jackky (whose father Vashu Bhagnani has produced the film) and the creative team couldn’t reach a final decision on the chosen poster. But later, when Ajay walked into Bhagnanis’ office for some unrelated work, he saw one of the two shortlisted posters hanging on the wall and instantly remarked that it looked fabulous. Immediately, Jackky’s problem was solved. He finalised the same poster as the film’s first look,” says an insider from the film’s creative team.

When contacted, Ajay confirms the news, saying, “When I first saw this poster, I truly felt it reflected the essence of the movie. I really want to send across my best wishes to the film and its team.” In spite of repeated attempts at contacting him, Jackky remained unavailable for a comment.
