Actor Ajay Devgn, who has made a mark in commercial as well as critically acclaimed movies, counts his survival in Bollywood, where competition has intensified over the years, for over two decades as his biggest achievement.
“I think we six to seven actors (Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan,
Saif Ali Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar) are surviving here since 20 years and this is a good thing. It speaks about our place and position in the industry and in the hearts of the audience,” Devgn said, adding, “I think that is a great achievement.”
Devgn, 43, whose debut in a lead role happened with Phool Aur Kaante, was initially considered an intense actor with films like Zakhm, Omkara, Bhagat Singh, but he reinvented himself later and went on to deliver hit comedies like Golmaal series, Bol Bachchan and Son of Sardaar.
