Anubhav Sinha is soon to release his next 3D production venture, Warning, which he has made on a shoestring budget. The filmmaker is said to have made a very shrewd move by hiring all his equipment and technicians from countries which have been hit by recession.

An insider from his production house reveals that not only did he save a lot of money, but also managed to acquire high-definition gadgets for half the price that was quoted in India.

“I started looking for markets where equipment and technicians faced competition. Europe seemed like a good idea. A little more research got me in touch with Andreas Biscaro at B-Movies in Venice. The film industries in that part of the world are going through a tough time and Andreas specifically was looking to expand to the US and India. It was a perfect fit,” says Anubhav.

The filmmaker also shot the film in Fiji as he was offered the location at a much cheaper rate. “The government not only helped us with the things we needed, but also subsidised all expenditures of filming there,” he says. Anubhav has supposedly wrapped the movie up in a budget of Rs. 5 crore.
