Actor Arshad Warsi, who is going back to choreography — his first love — with the film Calling Mr Joe B Carvalho, has reportedly been suffering from a knee injury that he got during one of the previous schedules. Arshad is acting and choreographing the title track of Calling Mr... and will be leaving for Goa tomorrow on a location hunt. “He has taken up acupressure in order to get the knee back in perfect condition. But the shoot is on May 27 and the time factor is crucial. He will also be flying to Goa for a recce since he wants the song to be perfect,” a source says.
“It is his return to choreography after nearly 20 years and its also his entry song in the movie. The shoot cant be pushed since Arshad’s dates are blocked post June for Dedh Ishqiya,” the source adds. Producer Bhola Malviya confirms the news, “Yes, it’s true that Arshad has a knee issue and our shoot is only seven days away. But he is recovering fast and will also be accompanying us to Goa. He knows his condition the best and we will surely have a great shoot.” Arshad, on his part, plays it down, “I’m actually quite looking forward to the Goa schedule... this is the best time to go and chill out in Goa and I’m also getting back to my first love, dancing. I’ll be flying n a couple of days. My knee is recovering well and the acupressure sessions are helping a lot. So I’m quite excited about the schedule. It’s going to be fun.”
