The media had always sung paeans to her beauty. Until one of the most stunning women in Bollywood - Aishwarya Rai Bachchan - found her post-pregnancy weight in the news after the birth of her daughter, Aaradhya. She dealt with it well, choosing not to react on the subject.

But sources claim
that even while talks of her comeback are continuing, Aishwarya has started working out to shed the added kilos. An industry insider says, "She has resumed her regular yoga sessions. She was never known to be a person who would work out in a gym. She prefers yoga. She is also doing a bit of functional training at home."

With Aaradhya a year old now, the actor might be looking to focus on her career again. The source adds, "She is clearly enjoying motherhood, which is her top priority. So she didn't want to take up any work, contrary to the reports. Now, with Aaradhya over a year old, she can start thinking of resuming work."

"If you notice from her recent appearances, she has already started losing weight," the source says, adding that an announcement about her comeback film is likely to be made by mid-2013. "She's in talks with filmmakers and in all probability, her next film will be announced post April," the source adds. We tried contacting Aishwarya, but she remained unavailable for a comment.

What is functional training?
Functional training comprises movements or exercises that improve a person's overall fitness or help a person to achieve a specific fitness goal. It focuses on individual parts of the body, assists in weight loss and is a popular exercise choice. It also helps improve
posture, core stability and flexibility.
