Kareena Kapoor has finally broken her silence on her fallout with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While reports suggested that Bhansali dropped the actor from his ambitious next, Ram Leela, a Hindi adaptation of Romeo & Juliet, as her wedding is round the corner and he did not want a married Juliet, Kareena cites “contractual” differences. “Unfortunately, we had some differences of opinion over the contractual issues. So we decided to part ways. But I have a huge regard for Bhansali as a filmmaker,” she said in an interview to Pinkvilla.com.
Any regrets about losing the jackpot deal? “If I did have them, I wouldn’t leave the film. I am in a position to choose which film I would like to be a part of. And I am very happy to be in such a position,” says the 31-year-old. And, she doesn’t mind working with him in the future. “Why not. Let's hope so ... I would always want to work with him,” she says.
