Bollywood celebs were present in large numbers at Yash Chopra's Chautha ceremony at YRF Studios on Thursday.
"Holi celebrations, shootings, dinners and musical evenings, story discussions, songs... now a thing of the past," Bachchan wrote on his blog.
It was Chopra's 1975 film Deewar which sealed Bachchan's image as the angry young man. They even teamed up for films such as Trishul and Silsila.
