Dusky beauty Deepika Padukone's charm has got her atleast 351,425 followers on Twitter.

Bollywood’s leading ladies continue to fuel male fantasies. After all, who doesn’t like the idea of a pretty woman who is tough enough to master a boy’s favourite toy — the motorbike. Anushka Sharma did it in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (2008), Katrina rode one in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011). Of

The latest to join the gang of pretty biker girls is Deepika Padukone. As the face of a motorcycle brand, Deepika was required to merely master their newly launched scooterette for an ad shoot. But the girl’s decided to go the method acting way by learning to ride a heavier geared bike before shooting for the TV commercial.

“Although Deepika is the face of the company’s new scooterette collection, she will go for bike lessons. She wants to master the skill of riding a difficult vehicle first so that a scooter will automatically become easier for her to handle,” says an insider.

“In the coming few days, she will make time for the lessons.” The two-wheeler company, it seems, has hired special trainers who will be giving Deepika riding lessons.

It also seems that her role as the wild child Veronica in Cocktail might have something to do with the endorsement. The bike company felt that since she played a free spirit, she will be a perfect fit for the scooterette aimed at young girls.

When contacted, Deepika confirmed the news. Her spokesperson adds, “She is working out her schedule to see if she can take out a few days for the lessons. She doesn’t want to come across as a novice in the commercial.”

Deepika’s Desi Boyz (2011) co-star John Abraham is also the face of the same brand.
