Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020 set for movie adaptation

After One Night At Call Centre, Five Point Someone, Three Mistakes of My Life and 2 States, yet another Chetan Bhagat novel is set to be adapted in a movie.

UTV Motion Pictures tweeted a picture on Monday that said that Chetan Bhagat's Revolution 2020 will soon be adapted in a film to be directed by Rajkumar Gupta.

Gupta has earlier directed films like Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Ghanchakkar.

Chetan Bhagat tweeted, "Delighted to announce the Revolution 2020 film! To be directed by the talented Raj Kumar Gupta, produced by @utvfilms"

All of Chetan Bhagat's novels have been adapted in Hindi movies. Salman Khan-starrer Hello was based on One Night at Call Centre and proved to be a flop at the box office. Bhagat's novels Three Mistakes of My Life and Five Point Someone resulted in Bollywood hits with Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer Kai Po Che and Aamir Khan-starrer 3 Idiots respectively.

Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor are currently shooting for Karan Johar-Sajid Nadiadwala's 2 States - a film based on Chetan's novel by the same name.

The cast of the film and other details are yet to be announced.
