Emraan Hashmi
Emraan Hashmi is definitely an actor with fans who follow him wherever he goes. Now, for the second time, he has had to pay the price of being a superstar. While shooting for his film Ghanchakkar, the actor’s fans who had gathered around to meet him, managed to put a spanner in the
shooting.

An insider reveals, “The team was shooting outside the Ghatkopar railway station around 1.30 am. But even at that time, there was a huge crowd that had gathered there. They all wanted to see Emraan and talk to him.”

The film, which is being shot in sync sound, requires complete silence on the sets, but thanks to Emraan’s fans, there was a lot of disturbance. The insider says, “The constant noise that the crowd made every time Emraan walked out was disturbing the shoot. Finally, the director Rajkumar Gupta and Emraan decided that the latter would go out and meet the crowd and handle the situation.”

Eventually, Emraan met his fans, signed autographs and even clicked pictures with them. After about an hour, the entire situation was under control and they finally resumed the shoot.

Twice before previously too, the shoot of Ghanchakkar has been stopped on two occasions. Once, when the team was shooting near Madh Island at Essel Studios, a young fan of Emraan’s refused to leave the sets without meeting the star. Emraan finally succumbed to the pressure and met her. Then, when the team was shooting at Dadar Parsi Colony, a huge crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of Vidya Balan. The shoot was halted and extra security had been called in to control the mob.
