Emraan Hashmi turns 34 today. With two big projects slated for release early this year, the 'serial kisser' is riding on high waves. Ekta Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj's joint venture Ek thi Daayan is scheduled to release in April while UTV Productions plan to release Ghanchakkar in July. Take a look at his Bollywood journey.
Emraan Hashmi, who gained popularity  for kissing on the big screen and doing more than his share of grey roles, is now attempting somethingdifferent in his next venture. For Ghanchakkar, his upcoming film with UTV Motion Pictures, he will shoot an action scene inside a moving local train in
Mumbai.

A source reveals, “Emraan’s character is of a master safecracker and this sequence will be part of a crucial scene.

This is a first for Emraan, in terms of shooting a big action scene in a train. He’s excited about it, as he’s never done one before. The scene has some cool stunts.”

The filmmakers have sought special permission from Western Railways for the night shoot, which will take place sometime next month. “The next schedule of the film has Emraan
shooting solo.

That is the time in which the scene will be shot.

The train will go from Borivali to Andheri, and he will be seen fighting gangsters inside a moving train. It will be tough and the train will add a new dimension to the scene.”

Manish Hariprasad, creative director, Studios Disney UTV, says, “Yes, we are doing some action sequences in a train for Ghanchakkar.

It is an essential scene in the movie which is a quirky thriller.”

Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Ghanchakkar also stars Vidya Balan.

The film is scheduled to release on June 21.
