Claudia says that it all happened very quickly. “Someone from Himesh’s (Reshammiya, co-producer) office approached me about the item song. When I heard the number, I instantly liked it. And since all the formalities were done so quickly, I couldn’t believe that I had got a song with Akshay Kumar. What made me say yes was that it’s a very catchy and peppy number,” explains Claudia.

But what got Claudia worried was Akshay’s energy level. “Although Akshay and I couldn’t interact much since he wasn’t part of the rehearsals, I worked hard to make sure that I match his energy levels. And honestly, Ganesh Acharya (choreographer) helped me a lot with the dance movements,” she adds.

In the past, Claudia acted in a German-Indian film, Ki Jana Pardes (2008), and a Bengali film, 10:10 (2008). She says bigger things are in store for her now. “I am going to surprise audiences with my acting as well,” says Claudia. Currently, she is making a guest appearance in the film Private Number with director Anand Kumar.
