Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol’s only wish this Diwali is the success of their film, Tell Me O Khuda, which hits theatres on Thursday.

“My only wish to Goddess Lakshmi is that my film becomes a super hit, and gets good business as we have worked really hard for it, and have put our heart
and soul into it. For my family and the rest of the world, I would like to say a little prayer — Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah (May all be happy). I am too tensed to think of celebrations at the moment as my film is about to release,” she says, wishing everyone a safe and happy day.

Though the film is pitted against Shah Rukh Khan’s RA.One and Himesh Reshammiya’s Damadamm, she is sure it’ll find its audience. “I am confident that it will do well and there would be no adverse impact on the business despite releasing alongside Shah Rukh Khan’s big-budget RA.One,” she says.

From a lanky, struggling boy from Delhi where a certain paanwala still tells tales of a superstar owing him money, to the dimpled cheeks, toned frame, impeccable dressing sense and unmatched wit and humour sporting superstar — Shah Rukh Khan has kissed success by leaps and bounds.
