Madhur Bhandarkar released the first poster of the much-awaited film Heroine on twitter showing actress Kareena Kapoor in a glam avatar.
The poster has Kareena dressed in a shimmery tank top and shorts lying down on a bed surrounded by magazines and photos of herself and an empty wine glass.
"Presenting the 1st poster of Heroine to all my well wishers. Hope you like it," Bhandarkar tweeted. The film, charting the journey of a Bollywood actress, is set to hit theatres on September 14.
After Rajesh Khanna's demise on Wednesday, several film events were rescheduled. The trailer of Heroine, which was to be launched on Saturday, has also been pushed forward to avoid coinciding with the veteran's chautha (fourth day prayer ceremony).
Buzz is that the trailer will now be launched on July 25.
A spokesperson from co-producers UTV-Disney Motion Pictures told HT Cafe, "Madhur and UTV decided to cancel the launch on the day of his 'chautha'."
