Morocco is set to replace Mumbai as the ‘entertainment capital of India’ at the end of this month. The upcoming nine-day Marrakesh Film Festival, which starts on November 30, will play host to quite a number of actors and directors, all of whom are special invitees to the international film
festival.

And bagging top honours is actor Hrithik Roshan (left). “He has the maximum number of films being screened at the festival,” says a source close to the actor. His four films — Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), Jodha Akbar (2008), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and Agneepath – will be showcased there.

“More importantly, the four films will be screened at the main square to all the dignitaries and invitees at the festival,” adds the source.
Actor Shah Rukh Khan will also share the stage with him on one of the days, as he also  played the lead role in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. The actor’s recent release, Jab Tak Hain Jaan, which also happens to be veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra’s last directorial venture, will also be featured there. “This film will be shown at the main square, followed by interactions with the stars,” says the source.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan and director Karan Johar are also among the special invitees headed to Marrakesh.
