Hrithik Roshan may not endorse many brands, but the ones he does choose, he makes sure that he’s creatively satisfied with.
Recently, the actor was offered a huge amount to become the brand ambassador for a phone company, but he rejected the offer because he wasn’t very pleased with the
creative ideas for the advertisements.
A source close to the actor says, “Hrithik was offered Rs. 15 crore by the brand. Negotiations were still on between the company and him and the price had further shot up to Rs. 18 to Rs. 20 crore. He was even considering it initially.”
But eventually, Hrithik called off the deal because he wasn’t happy with the brand’s marketing ideas.
“He didn’t seem to be very pleased with their creatives. He’s the kind of guy who is solely driven by content and he was quite dissatisfied with what the brand was giving him. That’s the main reason he did not take up the offer, in spite of the money being very good. They’re now looking for someone else,” the source adds.
The other reason Hrithik was skeptical about the project was because he doesn’t use that phone himself.
The source says, “Hrithik didn’t use the phone so he thought that it wouldn’t be right for him to endorse a product which he doesn’t use. That’s also the reason he doesn’t
endorse too many brands.”
