Earlier this year, the catastrophic Uttarakhand floods affected thousands of lives, causing mass destruction across the state and its neighbouring areas. Far away from all the devastation, back in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan’s film schedule was also disrupted due to the natural calamity. However, the Karan Johar production now seems to be back on track.

"We were planning to shoot in the state, but we couldn’t for obvious reasons. Along with the floods in Uttarakhand, Hrithik’s health was our other concern,” says director Karan Malhotra, who last directed Agneepath (2012). He adds, “But we are definitely going back to Uttarakhand because the situation is much better now. I think we are back on track as far as that (shooting in Uttarakhand) is concerned."

Although the film’s schedule is set to begin in December this year, Malhotra did not reveal when exactly the crew would head north as things are still in the planning stages. There is no news of any other film being shot in Uttarakhand currently.
