Huma Qureshi has been making news ever since the time she took her first step in Bollywood. This time round, she is in the news because she has replaced Kangna Ranaut in Dedh Ishqiya, the sequel of the sleeper hit Ishqiya, which starred Vidya Balan, Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah.

As per the buzz, Huma was signed by the makers as they felt that she fitted the role. Rumors have it that Richa Chadha was also a front-runner for the same role.
The film that also stars Madhuri Dixit will go on floor in February.
