SRK makes a big entry
Shah Rukh Khan arrived in Macau to a grand welcome at The Venetian Resort Hotel where he is going to host the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards. A huge crowd was waiting for him impatiently, in long queues on both sides of the hotel’s entrance. There was an Italian band of six to eight people who sang a welcome song when he got out of the car. SRK was hounded by the media, but he only said, “I am excited to be at IIFA again.” He was accompanied by his Chennai Express co-star Deepika Padukone. Madhuri Dixit was also spotted  entering the hotel a few minutes before him. Kamal Haasan came for his film, Vishwaroopam, and will be also talking about its sequel. He entered just before SRK.

Arjun Kapoor to do Dabangg dance
Arjun Kapoor, who is going to perform at IIFA this year, is set to ape Salman’s moves. “I have always performed to my own songs but this time I have chosen the Dabangg song as it has always enthralled the audience,” says Arjun. He has also chosen some other tracks like Senorita from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011) and the title song of Desi Boyz (2011) for the event.

Boman calls Ram a beautiful woman
Boman Irani is hilarious and he proved it at the press conference of his next release, Santa Banta. After giving the media a brief about the film with his co-star Vir Das, when it came to call the rest of the cast on stage he said, “I would like to call the beautiful lady of the film Ram Kapoor.” Ram took to the stage in splits.

Ayushmann finds dancing easier
Ayushmann Khurrana, who is also performing at IIFA on the final day, believes it’s easier to dance at a festival than host it. “It’s just a five-minute job. I am no less nervous but I find it easier than hosting a two to three hours event,” said Ayushmann.

Happy anniversary Neha!
Neha Dhupia, who completes a decade in Bollywood on July 11, seemed very excited about it. “I have a long way to go, but I feel brand new,” said Neha who is looking forward to release of Ungli.

Dance off
Sources have revealed that Prabhudheva and Sridevi’s act, which is choreographed by Prabhudheva himself, will be sort of a dance off. Sridevi will shake a leg to her hits, including Na jaane kahan se aayi and Prabhu will groove to Muqabla muqabla among other hit tracks.

The writers’ trip is sponsored by the IIFA organisers.
