Hera Pheri (2000): Starring Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Sunil Shetty and Tabu, the film is one of Bollywood's best ever comedy movies.

The third part of Hera Pheri series has been in talks for quite a long time now.

Despite rumours that Akshay Kumar would be seen in the third part of Hera Pheri and the sequel of Welcome, we have learnt that he has opted out of both the movies. In fact, the news is that John Abraham will

be seen in Welcome 2.

Apparently, producer Firoz Nadiadwala waited for four years for Akshay to commence work on the third installment of Hera Pheri, however the actor's price tag was much too high. While the reason for Akshay Kumar not doing Welcome 2 is yet unknown, sources close to the actor confirm that he will definitely not be in the film.

Welcome 2 is expected to go on floors later this year, and will be helmed once again by Anees Bazmee who had directed the first part in 2007.
