If actor Katrina Kaif left audiences wanting for more with her moves in the songs Sheila Ki Jawani and Chikni Chameli, Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor has now joined the item number bandwagon with her upcoming flick, Heroine.
Titled Halkat Jawaani, the 31-year-old calls the song her
“raunchiest” number till date. “This is the raunchiest number I have ever done. There’s so much exposure,” says the actor.
Bebo, as she is popularly called, followed her nutritionist, Rujuta Diwekar’s diet plan for weeks to achieve the curvy look. The song was shot last Thursday in Mumbai, and close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar was present to witness the number. “Karan looked amused at Bebo’s dance moves. They both talked about it and KJo pointed out certain things to her and explained how she could add more spunk to it,” said a source from the production unit.
The film’s director, Madhur Bhandarkar, has also advanced the release of the film by a week to coincide with Bebo’s birthday, on September 21. “We decided to make things special for her (Kareena) with a bit of a reshuffle,” says Bhandarkar. Bebo adds,“What better birthday gift than it coming out on the same day?”
