The buzz has it that Kareena Kapoor will be replacing Malaika Arora Khan akka ‘Munni’ in Dabangg 2.

Bebo will be seen doing an item number in the sequel to 2010 smash hit Dabangg.

The item number will be composed by either Sajid-Wajid or Lalit Pandit.

According to industry

insiders, the pairing of Kareena and Salman Khan in Bodyguard was much liked and led to her being chosen for the item number.

This time around, the role of Malaika would apparently be restricted to being the producer only.

Kareena will also be seen gyrating to item numbers in filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s most talked-about film Heroine, where she also plays the title role. "Kareena will be doing two item numbers. One of them is called Halkat Jawani," Madhur Bhandarkar had shared.

Bebo has also done a mujra number for her beau actor-producer Saif Ali Khan’s forthcoming spy-thriller Agent Vinod.
