After months of speculations, Katrina Kaif has walked out of Abbas-Mustan's Bollywood remake of
The Italian Job for reasons known only to her.
The actress walked out of the project citing date problems. Interestingly, she has recently signed a new film with Yash Raj Films.
Simultaneously the shooting of
Dostana 2 also got postponed to December for which her dates had to be adjusted.
What is peculiar is that Kat has actually let go of a meaty role. Apparently she would've played the role Charlise Theron played in the original.

Buzz is that she demanded some change in the script of
desi Italian Job because she was unhappy with it. Incidentally her last film with the director duo,
Race was a hit at the box-office,
Mumbai Mirror reported.
The shooting of Italian Job was planned for mid-November. Abbas-Mustan tried hard to persuade her but after the shooting of Dostana 2 shifted to December, she had no choice but to leave the film.
Kat was then offered a Yash Raj film, opposite Imran Khan, which will go on floors from mid-September. Could this be the reason why she left Abbas-Mustan's film?
Meanwhile, Mustan, of the Abbas-Mustan duo, told the tabloid, “Yes it is true. There are a lot of date problems and she (Katrina) is no longer doing the film. As of now, we have Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Omi Vaidya in the film. One more hero and two girls still need to be cast. Everything will be done in a week’s time.”
