Aamir Khan is back with Reema Kagti's Talaash. With its plot kept tightly under wraps, the crime-thriller is generating a lot of curiosity. Aamir Khan is sharing screenspace with two beauties- Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.

It’s a triple punch that’s bound to hit hard at the box office. Bollywood’s three Khans — Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman — are all coming out with their much-awaited flicks within a gap of six weeks this year, and trade pundits predict their outings combined will make the industry richer by Rs

500 crore in one-and-a-half months. Each film has a budget of over
Rs.
50 crore.
While SRK-Anushka-Katrina starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan (JTHJ), which is releasing on November 13, has Yash Chopra donning the director’s hat after eight years, Aamir’s Talaash is hitting the screens on November 30 and is his first movie as an actor after Dhobi Ghat (2010).
Salman’s Dabangg 2 is releasing on December 21 and is a sequel to the movie that was a game changer in terms of both business and plot setting. “These movies will earn at least
Rs.
500 crore, and that, only in India. They are big movies, both in terms of their magnanimity and business,” says trade guru Joginder Tuteja.
“These three movies have no competition at the box office and have a run of at least two weeks each and therefore should do a net business of
Rs.
150 crore each,” he adds.
Agrees Arbaaz Khan, the director-producer of Dabangg 2, “It’s an industry prediction and these films indeed have the potential to make big bucks.” As part of its marketing strategy, 70% of theatres have already been booked by JTHJ to nullify the effect for Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardar which is also releasing on the same day. And though Aamir is yet to show his cards, he is reportedly working aggressively on the promotional strategy even as he shoots for Dhoom 3 in Chicago. Salman, too, has sold the satellite rights of his film for over
Rs.
50 crore.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh says that the whole buzz that has been created around these films is what will result in high footfall. “It’s going to be a major clash and there will definitely be fireworks at the box office.”
