Emraan Hashmi and Eesha Gupta's Jannat 2 is based on the issue of illegal arms. Here's a look.
Bhatts are back with the second installment of Jannat, where Emraan Hashmi will be seen romancing Esha Gupta.
While the first installment was an exposé on betting in cricket, the sequel revolves around illegal trading in arms and ammunition.
"At heart, it's an old school romance revolving around a small-town guy who comes to the big city looking for a piece of heaven, falls ...
"It's going to be one of the most talked about films of 2012 with superlative performances and a hit music score," said Emraan Hashmi who ...
Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi plays the role of Sonu Dilli KKC which stands for Kutti Kameeni Cheez.
Emraan Hashmi will stand by his reputation and will be seen getting intimate with his female lead Esha Gupta.
The 32-year-old was last seen in blockbuster The Dirty Picture and his upcoming projects include Raaz 3 and Vishal Bharadwaj's Daayan.
Directed by Kunal Deshmukh, Jannat 2 also features Randeep Hooda and Imran Zahid.
Jannat 2 is produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt.
Kunal Deshmukh admits that the sensuality factor is high in his forthcoming movie Jannat, which has Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. But at the same time he clarifies that he doesn't consider kissing a bold gesture.
"There are no bold scenes in the film. I don't think a liplock is bold anymore. This film is not pushing on sex. I wanted a small love making sequence and a couple of lip locks which Esha Gupta was comfortable as an actor," Deshmukh told IANS.
Earlier Deshmukh wanted to cast Prachi Desai in Jannat 2, which is being produced by Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt, but later finalised Esha who was comfortable doing the courageous scenes.
"When I first pitched the story to Prachi, the sensuality was a little low and she was very clear about what she is willing to do and what she is not willing to do. I was told by Bhatt sir that we need to step up in terms of sensuality in the film because Bhatt cinema requires little bit of skin show, little bit of lip-lock because it is expected from an Emraan film," said Deshumkh.
"I had a conversation with Prachi and I am glad that she made things clear about what she is willing to do. Then we parted ways. No point on having an ugly conversation on the sets," added the 30-year-old who earlier directed Tum Mile and Jannat.
Jannat 2 also features Randeep Hooda and it is slated for a May 4 release.
