Wearing a loud make-up and a seductive smile, Kareena Kapoor Khan looks smouldering hot in the latest song Muskaanein Jhooti Hai from Talaash. The song which is a promotional video for the film features all the suspects of the suspense drama.
While the song also has Aamir Khan, Rani Mukerji, Nawazuddin Siddhiqui along with other actors, the focus is on gorgeous Bebo, who seems to have done justice to her part.
Meanwhile the music launch of Talaash is scheduled for Thursday. Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani will launch the music. For the event, the ambience of a red-light area, which has a crucial part in the movie, would be re-created. It will be held in a suburban hotel.
A source had earlier told HT Cafe: “The team is recreating a red-light area setting of Mumbai to launch the music. They are building and creating an exact replica of Hotel Lido from the film’s set, which is a part of the story.”
It was reportedly producer Ritesh Sidhwani who came up with the idea. Says Ritesh: “Hotel Lido is not just a location or a set but almost like an important character in the film. Hence, we thought we should come up with an idea that is not only engaging but also relevant to the film.”
Shot in Mumbai, Pondicherry and London, the storyline of the film has been kept closely guarded from Day 1 as Aamir is particular about not revealing the plot of his films. However, as per trailers and trade talk, Rani plays his wife, Sunaina, and Kareena plays a prostitute, Rosy. Latest rumours also suggest that there are traces of the Aarushi murder case in the film. Talaash will also see Gangs of Wasseypur lead Nawazzudin Siddique playing a pivotal role.
INTRODUCING KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN...
Aamir Khan-starrer Talaash will be the first film to credit the actor with her new name in the opening credits.
“Yes, Kareena has already spoken to Aamir and Ritesh (Sidhwani, co-producer) about it. Of course, they don’t have any problems with it? So the path’s clear for ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan’,” says an insider.
Talaash will be Kareena’s first release after the wedding.
“Kareena was always clear that she would add Khan to her surname. But the decision to use it in the film’s credits was taken by her only a few days back,” adds the insider.
*Kareena Kapoor’s married name, ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan’ will appear in the opening credits of the film —this will be a first
*Earlier slated to release on June 1, the film was postponed because Aamir was occupied with his TV show, Satyamev Jayate.
*Before the official poster came out, a slew of fake posters of the movie were leaked online
*There was buzz that Aamir and Kagti had differences over some scenes that he wanted re-shot
*There were reports that the advance booking of the flick had started but it turned out a rumour.
