Preity Zinta looks pretty in black and white.
Actor Sunny Deol’s Bhayyaji Superhit, which resumes shooting after being stalled for a couple of months, has stumbled on yet another roadblock. Actor Ameesha Patel has been confirmed opposite Sunny, but the filmmakers have dropped Preity Zinta as she failed to give dates for the

film.
Confirming the news, producer Fauzia Arshi says, “We are not taking Preity Zinta in the film.” The decision to drop Preity from the film was made only on Monday, adds Fauzia.
Earlier, director Neeraj Pathak had announced that Preity was part of the film. Actor Tusshar Kapoor had also confirmed in a recent interview that Preity was in.
But then Tusshar, who was going to be part of the project, walked out of it at the last moment himself as the dates he needed to give clashed with the shoots of Shootout At Wadala and Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum.
The action-comedy, in which actor Sunny Deol plays a double role, first got stuck when it went over the budget. When asked whether Preity was dropped because she quoted a higher price Fauzia says, “No, it’s not that her fee is exorbitant but the negotiations were taking too long.”
The filmmakers are soon to start a hunt for the parallel female lead of the film. “We are really wondering which actor to cast. As this decision (about Preity) was taken only on Monday night, we haven’t decided on her replacement yet. We haven’t approached anyone for the role, but will soon decide upon whom to get in touch with,” says Fauzia.
