Prosenjit Chatterjee, whose last Hindi film release was Dibakar Banerjee's Shanghai (2012), will now be seen in filmmaker Onir’s yet-untitled project. He has been paired opposite Juhi Chawla.
The actor reveals that the film’s storyline convinced him to take it up. “It’s a mature love story and I found it interesting,” says Prosenjit, who is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of award- winning Malayalam film, Traffic (2011). The Bengali star is currently shuttling between Mumbai and Kolkata. “I am in the city to shoot for Traffic. The rest of the team is shooting in Pune. I will also be in Mumbai for three-four days,” says Prosenjit.
Onir’s film is likely to start early next year and a lot of pre-production is yet to be sorted out. “He will take some time to finish Chauranga (a film he is currently working on) and we will start working on our project after that,” says Prosenjit, adding that the makers are still working on a suitable title for the film.
