Sanjay Dutt and Nathalia Kaur at a promotional event of Department.
Ram Gopal Varma and Sanjay Dutt's war of words has taken an interesting turn. It's public knowledge that the director and the actor don't want to see each other's face post Department debacle. But why's RGV fuming at Abhishek?

In an interview to Mumbai Mirror, RGV says that he blames
Abhishek for Department failure.

"When Abhishek was supposed to do Rana’s role, it was he who convinced me about Dutt against my better judgement. Later on, he couldn’t do the film and I was left with Dutt. So I definitely blame Abhishek for making me go through this though it was unintentional on his part," RGV told the tabloid.

The filmmaker who's not exactly the flavour of the season had said, "Whatever else happening to Department I am supremely happy that I don't want to see the faces of Sanjay Dutt and Dharam Oberoi (CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions) for the rest of my life," Varma wrote on Twitter.

"From forcing me to take Kangana (Kangana Ranaut) out of the film to constantly cornering me to change screenplay, I had the most horrible time working with Dutt," Varma added.

The great Bollywood drama: RGV, Abhishek Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt

"If Dutt and Oberoi think I am the bad in Department lets wait for Zilla Ghaziabad and Soham's film where I am not there to spoil their creative inputs," Varma said.

Sanjay Dutt had earlier told Mumbai Mirror: "I have been in the industry for 32 years and I know which cameras are suitable and which are not. But ab kya karen? Jo ho gaya so ho gaya. But yes, I really don't know at this point of time if I want to work with Ramu again."

He came into the Bollywood industry with a huge baggage, the baggage of fitting into his father Amitabh Bachchan's shoes.
