For his upcoming film, actor writes his own dialogues, including some colourful expletives; recalls his father shouting at him Ram Kapoor was last seen in Student Of The Year (2012) in which he played an arrogant and dominating father. The actor’s role in his next Yash Raj Films’ Mere Dad Ki
Maruti, is on similar lines and sees him playing a rough father.

The role also requires Ram to abuse his son, played by Saqib Saleem. A source reveals, “The father and son have a troubled relationship. Ram will be seen abusing Saqib a lot.”
Apparently, Ram could relate a lot to Saqib’s character as he had shared a similar relationship with his own father. The source says, “It turns out that a lot of Ram’s dialogues in the movie are mostly abuses, and are what the actor himself put into the dialogues, as they were used by his own father.”
A spokesperson for the movie says, “During rehearsals, Ram asked for some changes in his lines and replaced them with abuses used by his father. Ram even shared with us how he and his father were similar to characters played by him and Saqib in the movie.”
Ask Ram about the similarity of his role to that of his father, and he says, “My father abused me the same way that I have abused Saqib in the film.”
