Sharmila Tagore threw a formal reception in Delhi for her newly wed son Saif Ali Khan and his bride, Kareena Kapoor. While Saif looked every bit the nawab in a black bandhgala, Kareena looked absolutely beautiful in a pink embellished garara.

The Nawab of Pataudi and his wife have a date with a royal family from Gujarat. Of course, we’re talking about Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, who will accompany Soha Ali Khan to a special screening of her new film, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns.

The screening is for the royal family

of Devgadh Baria, a princely town where director Tigmanshu Dhulia shot large portions of the film as well as its previous installment (Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster; 2011). The screening will take place today in Gandhinagar, where the family now resides.

Saif has reportedly flown to Bhopal to meet Kareena, where she is shooting for Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha. They will head to Gandhinagar together. “They will be coming to watch the film with Soha and the cast and crew. Saif shares a warm rapport with the makers as he is doing Bullet Raja with them,” says the source.

Producer Rahul Mittra says, “We are indebted to Rani Urvashi Devi and her family. Both the films were shot at Baria. They treated us like family. We’re hosting a special screening at a multiplex in Gandhinagar for her, her son Tushar Baba and her daughter-in-law Ambika.”
