Seems like ex-flames Salman, Katrina are the flavour of the season. The duo, who will be seen in upcoming film Ek Tha Tiger, is also roped in for Karan Johar's next to be directed by Rensil D'Silva.

Karan wanted to work with Katrina from long. The actor was supposed to star in Dharma Productions' Dostana sequel and Ayaan Mukerji's next but things didn't work out.

"Till the last moment, every effort was made to get Katrina in Ayaan's project. But it just didn't work out," a source told Mumbai Mirror.

Now Karan is keen to cast Katrina opposite her ex-beau Salman in Rensil's project.

"It doesn't matter whether I am in Karan's film now or later, or never. He's a dear friend and I really enjoy his company," the sexy actor told the tabloid.

The film is expected to go on floors next year.
