Shah Rukh Khan is all set to challenge arch rival Salman Khan in the latter's territory. Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming film Chennai Express will reportedly be ready for release by Eid - a date that has become synonymous with Salman Khan's releases.
Incidentally, Salman Khan's next Mental
is still under production and reports suggest that the movie is not likely to be ready for release this Eid, which falls on August 8. Also, Salman Khan's Sher Khan is most likely not to be released at Eid.
Mumbai Mirror reported on Friday that Shah Rukh Khan called the various stakeholders including Rohit Shetty, Farah Khan, and Vishal-Shekhar to Wai. SRK reportedly said, "Get ready for Eid!”.
What remains to be seen is whether Eid gets Shah Rukh Khan as great a hit as his rival or is that mere superstition.
