The team of Kunal Kohli's latest flick Teri Meri Kahaani came to the capital recently for promotions. Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra along with director Kunal Kohli addressed the media at a press meet.

Post the debacle of his last film Teri Meri Kahaani, Shahid Kapoor has been lying low. However, he has now signed a film that will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. The film tentatively titled Phata Poster Nikla Hero is being produced by Tips.

When we got in touch with producer Ramesh Taurani

who confirmed the news. "Yes we have signed Shahid for the film. However though the script is ready, we have not yet locked in a lead actress. In fact we will do that within the coming weeks."

While talking about the film, Taurani says, "The film will be an outright Bollywood masala entertainer, and is about a young boy who wants to be a superstar despite his mother's protests. The film is going on floors later this year in November and will release next year."
