Siddhant Kapoor: Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhanth will enter the B-Town with Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala.
Actor Siddhant Kapoor has bagged a role in filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s next directorial venture Ugly, where he will be sharing screen space with his aunt Tejaswini Kolhapure. Tejaswini, who had made her debut with Kashyap’s film Paanch (2003) that never released, will be working with the filmmaker
after almost a decade.

“The most exciting part is that I am working with my aunt. I’m very close to her as I grew up around her. I’m sure it will be very interesting to work with her,” says Siddhant.

The actor reveals that his role Ugly in similar to the one he will be playing in Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala. “In Shootout At Wadala, I am playing a sharp shooter in a gang, while in this film, I play a dark protagonist, who is into drugs,” he says.

A drama, Ugly also stars actors Ronit Roy and Pallavi Sharda, who are playing pivotal roles in the film.

Prod him on whether he has managed to grab a lead role in the film and he says, “It’s a very character driven film. There is no lead or anything. I am playing one of the very important characters for sure.”

He will start shooting for the both films from mid-March onwards. “I will busy till June, shooting for only these two films. I’ve managed to juggle the schedules for both these projects,” says Siddhant.
